Bitter Gourd Salad

 

Ingredients:

Bitter gourd 200 Gms
Onions 1 medium
Chilli powder 1 tablespoon
Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Onion 1 large
Green chillies 3
Yoghurt 2 Tablespoon

Method:

Wash the Bitter gourds and slice them into thin slices.

You can discard the seeds but some people keep them.

Mix chilli powder, Turmeric Powder and salt with little water and mix this paste to the slices well.

Deep fry the slices until soft do not make it crispy.

Remove from fire and let it drain.

Now dice the onion and green chillies and mix with yoghurt in a bowl. Can omit yoghurt if you do not like it.

Then add the well drained fried bitter gourd slices and mix further.

Serve with: As a starter or with a rice meal
