Very common cake made even by school students in the Home Science schools.
Butter 8 Oz
Sugar 16 Oz
Semolina (Roasted) 8Oz
Cadju 12 oz
Pumpkin preserves 8Oz
Vanilla ¼ teaspoon
Eggs 7 or 8
Separate the yolk of all the eggs from the whites and keep separate.
Chop cadju into smaller pieces.
Beat the whites until it froths well and leave aside.
Beat the butter and sugar together until the mixture is nice and creamy.
Add the yolks of the eggs to this mixture little by little and keep beating the mixture until all the yolks are used.
Now add the semolina, cadju pieces and pumpkin preserve to this mixture and mix well.
Lastly add the beaten egg whites and vanilla and mix well.
Put this mixture in a baking tray and bake in an oven at moderate heat.
